  • Giovanni’s forensic work focuses on the identification and analysis of fraud and financial and accounting irregularities. He is regularly involved in internal investigations concerning allegations of fraud, corruption and misappropriation, often in international contexts.
  • He adopts an integrated approach that combines accounting analysis, data analytics and investigative techniques, coordinating multidisciplinary teams that may include forensic technology specialists, integrity due diligence experts and external investigators. His experience also includes supporting defence strategies in criminal proceedings and assisting insolvency bodies in the analysis of distressed or insolvent businesses.

  • Giovanni has developed considerable expertise in the quantum of damages in civil disputes and arbitrations.
  • He regularly supports clients and their legal advisers during the different phases of litigation and arbitration, from the preliminary assessment of claims to the drafting of expert reports and assistance throughout the proceedings.
