Sunset to sunrise: Legal and commercial issues in the energy transition

As a contributor to the 7th annual London International Disputes Week (LIDW), Accuracy co-hosted an event with HFW and Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration.

‘Sunset to sunrise: Legal and commercial issues in the energy transition’, a discussion of energy transition disputes with a focus on construction and ESG perspectives and with a particular lens on India.

Accuracy director Vasudev Bhagavatula highlighted:
“Energy transition projects face growing delay risks as new technologies, changing regulations, supply chain pressures and legacy infrastructure challenges converge. Traditional delay analysis methods remain fit for purpose, but the key differentiator is often the expert, not the methodology. Success lies in the expert’s ability to understand the technical details, follow the evidence wherever it leads instead of relying on preconceived ideas, and build a clear, evidence-based narrative that stands up to scrutiny before a court or tribunal.”
