At last week’s Rencontres Économiques d’Aix organised by Le Cercle des économistes, our partner David Chollet took part in the panel “ESG and businesses: Ambition facing reality”, alongside leading experts: Daniel Biarneix (AFTE – The French Association Of Corporate Treasurers), Mirela Agache Durand, CFA (AFG), Edouard Vieillefond (CCR – Caisse Centrale de Réassurance), and Estelle Sauvat (GROUPE ALPHA).
Together, they explored the concrete actions companies can take to navigate an uncertain economic landscape – one where ESG considerations are set to become increasingly central in the years ahead.
With the world edging closer to the tipping points identified by the IPCC, David stressed the urgent need for businesses to integrate ESG into their core strategies today. The companies that make bold, forward-thinking choices now will be those best positioned to lead tomorrow.
