Our client, one of the leading French banking groups, sought to conduct a comprehensive diagnostic of its retail banking business to assess its competitive positioning and identify key strengths and weaknesses. The diagnosis aimed to analyse market dynamics and recent trends, evaluate the bank’s performance in the retail segment and develop proposals to support the business’s long-term growth.
We (i) evaluated competitors’ financial performance and key market trends, with a particular focus on digital adoption, (ii) identified synergies across retail banking, private banking and real estate activities, and (iii) assessed the group’s positioning within a highly competitive environment, ultimately highlighting quantified growth opportunities to expand its banking networks and optimise intra-group synergies.
