Our client, a PE firm planning to implement a buy-and-build strategy on a company active in the renovation and maintenance of (semi-)governmental real estate, sought support with multiple buy-side projects and post-merger integrations but ended up in an unanticipated divestment process involving a larger-cap PE firm.
