Our client, a major banking group, required support in its acquisition of an international equipment leasing company operating across more than 15 countries. Our work encompassed multiple streams, including (i) buy-side due diligence, with a particular focus on ALM and risk aspects; (ii) preparation of the purchase price allocation (PPA); (iii) definition of the target operating model; (iv) identification of synergies and dyssynergies; and (v) business plan development.
The acquisition process (i) ensured the smooth integration of an international group into our client’s structure, (ii) secured the post-acquisition transition phase and (iii) defined the operational and financial target model, including liquidity management, for a combined entity with significant financial capacity, a large workforce, and a broad international presence.
