Accuracy Volunteers Social Impact: Boosting entrepreneurship in East Africa in partnership with Grow Movement
At Accuracy, we believe in the power of shared knowledge to spark real change. That’s why our team proudly partners with Grow Movement, an inspiring initiative that supports small businesses in developing regions. Through this collaboration, Accuracy staff volunteer their time and expertise to coach entrepreneurs remotely, helping them grow their businesses, create jobs, and build stronger communities.
In 2024, 13 Accuracy team members stepped up to support entrepreneurs across Rwanda and Kenya. Working remotely, they offered tailored business coaching—sharing insights in areas such as financial management, business pitch development, fundraising and grant applications, market expansion, sales and marketing strategies, leadership, and more.
Each entrepreneur is paired with two Accuracy volunteers as well as a Grow Movement in-country project manager, who helps coordinate sessions and navigate any challenges that arise. This three-way collaboration ensures consistent support throughout the program, helping entrepreneurs put new ideas into action and build more profitable, sustainable businesses.
Beyond skill-sharing, this initiative fosters something deeper: hope and confidence. Entrepreneurs walk away with not just business tools, but a renewed belief in their potential and the future of their communities.
For our volunteers, the experience is equally powerful. It’s an opportunity to apply their expertise to real-world challenges and see their impact unfold in real time. It’s purpose-driven work—where service meets strategy and global connection fuels local change.
