How far has COP28 gone in achieving the goals set at COP21 in Paris?

While the agreement has just been published after days of intense negotiations, let’s look back on the key announcements and challenges from COP28 UAE:

– Mobilisation of $83.9 billion for net zero
– Transition from fossil fuels to avert the worst effects of climate change
– Tripling of global renewable energy production by 2030
– Pledge of $270 billion in green finance through the banking system by the UAE
