On 14 May 2026, Accuracy participated in Construction Week Middle East Dispute Resolution KSA 2026, with Sulaiman Alareadh, a Director at Accuracy in the Middle East, joining a panel discussion dedicated to the practical challenges encountered in the delivery of large-scale construction projects.
The discussion highlighted the importance of maintaining robust project governance throughout the lifecycle of major developments. While well-drafted contracts provide the necessary commercial and contractual framework, panellists emphasised that effective contract administration, clear communication and comprehensive contemporaneous records are often decisive when issues arise.
A recurring theme was the role of documentation in supporting project delivery and mitigating risks. Accurate records and disciplined contract management not only facilitate the resolution of disagreements but can also help prevent disputes from developing in the first place.
The panel also examined the growing focus on dispute avoidance mechanisms across the construction sector. Participants discussed how the involvement of independent experts during project execution can help identify concerns at an early stage, provide objective assessments and support the resolution of issues before they escalate into formal proceedings.
