Mina Popova is a director at Accuracy with more than 13 years of professional experience in financial analysis, valuation and dispute-related work. Since joining the firm, she has developed extensive expertise in international arbitration (both investor‑state and commercial), litigation support and complex valuation matters. Mina combines strong financial knowledge with deep, technical valuation capabilities.

Prior to joining Accuracy, Mina developed a solid background in the financial sector. She began in a major Spanish bank in financial markets, gaining deep exposure to financial instruments. She then moved to a major French bank within the Strategic Financial Management team.

At Accuracy, Mina regularly acts as an independent economic expert, advising on the quantification of damages in international arbitration proceedings and litigation before local courts. She has led engagements across multiple jurisdictions and has particular experience in sectors such as energy, and oil & gas.

Mina speaks Spanish (bilingual), Bulgarian (native), English (proficient), and French (basic).

  • Degree in International Business Administration and Management from ICADE University in Spain and Lancaster University Management School in UK (2012). Major in Finance

Mina has been appointed as an economic expert and has supported the preparation of expert evidence in numerous international arbitration cases under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, PCA, ICDR, and ad hoc rules, as well as in disputes before local courts. Over the course of dozens of engagements, she has built substantial experience in the assessment and quantification of damages across a wide range of dispute scenarios, including expropriations, post‑M&A disputes, contract terminations and breaches, shareholder conflicts, and concession‑related disagreements.

Financial markets and financial sector

Mina has had direct, hands‑on exposure to financial markets and has a strong understanding of complex financial instruments. She has also participated in the modelling of the regulatory stress tests for a systemically important financial institution.
