Accuracy recently co-hosted a seminar with Johnson Stokes & Master (JSM), bringing together leaders from Hong Kong’s construction, infrastructure and real estate sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
The seminar featured contributions from Partenaires en matière de précision Zaheer Minhas, Richard Scott et Alasdair Snadden, alongside Pheona Chow et Tom Fu, partners at Johnson Stokes & Master.
Discussions focused on the key factors that drive value creation and risk management across the lifecycle of major projects, from project inception through to long-term operation and dispute resolution. Particular attention was given to the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in delivering infrastructure projects, the growing importance of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) in enhancing asset performance, and the strategies available to prevent and manage litiges before they escalate.
The session explored how effective project structuring, robust governance and proactive stakeholder engagement can contribute to improved outcomes, while helping organisations address the commercial, operational and contractual risks associated with complex projects.
Participants also examined the importance of adopting a lifecycle perspective, recognising that decisions taken during the planning and delivery phases can have significant implications for long-term asset value, operational efficiency and dispute exposure.
The event brought together legal, technical and commercial perspectives on project delivery, reflecting the increasingly multidisciplinary approach required to manage large-scale infrastructure and real estate developments successfully.
