About

David is a Partner and has been based since 2016 in the Singapore office of Accuracy which he established.

He has extensive experience in providing advice and support to clients in various situations, including disputes, crisis and transactions.

David joined Accuracy in 2005 shortly after the inception of the company, prior to this he spent three years with the EY teams in Paris.

Overall, David has gained more than 20 years of experience in forensic accounting, due diligence and valuation. He is regularly involved in expert witness assignments and has given evidence in proceedings under the SIAC, HKIAC, ICC and ICSID Arbitration Rules. He has coordinated numerous due diligence projects across the globe and has carried out reviews encompassing both technical and financial issues on major infrastructure and construction projects.

David speaks English and French.

Litigation and arbitration

David has been appointed on numerous occasions as an independent expert witness for matters involving valuation of shares or other assets, quantification of loss of profits, business interruption losses and M&A related disputes. He has been cross examined numerous times in proceedings under SIAC, HKIAC, ICC and ICSID Arbitration Rules, as well as ad hoc arbitration and before the Singapore High Court.

David is featured in Who’s Who Legal (now Lexology Index) since 2023 and is ranked as a Future Leader in Arbitration Expert Witnesses.

Transaction and valuation

David has performed buy-side and sell-side due diligences in South-East Asia, mainland China, Australia and New Zealand across a variety of industries (hospitality and retail, aerospace and defence, technology, logistics, communication).

He also regularly carries out non-contentious valuations of shares and intangible assets in Singapore and the region

Project advisory

David regularly carries out financial reviews of large construction projects (margin slippage analysis, impact of delays, estimate to complete assessment, forensic review).
