Situation: Strategy and business changes
Business Change

Context

Foot Unis, the union representing French professional football clubs, engaged us to assess the economic and social impact of professional football in France. The goal of this impact barometer was to support the clubs’ advocacy efforts towards public and private stakeholders.

Key Takeaway

Quantifying football’s tangible value to society and the economy helped to strengthen the voice of clubs in their dialogue with institutional partners and the broader public.

Accuracy Role

We defined a rigorous methodology to measure both direct and indirect contributions of football clubs to the French economy. This included employment and revenue impact indicators, data collection from clubs, public bodies and external sources, and robust analysis of local and national effects. We produced a comprehensive report presenting our findings, supported by clear visualisations, and worked on a dedicated communication strategy to amplify the barometer’s visibility, including media coverage and stakeholder outreach.
