Jerome Tang is a director at Accuracy, with over 11 years of professional experience working in both Singapore and London. Prior to joining Accuracy in 2017, Jerome worked for three years in FTI Consulting in the same field, delivering litigation support and dispute resolution services.

He has undertaken a broad range of engagements encompassing business valuations, damage assessments, project advisory and financial due diligence since 2012, covering a wide range of industries.

Having been based in both London and Singapore, Jerome has been involved in engagements across Asia, Australasia, Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked on contentious matters before the Singapore High Court, Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC), the Dutch Court as well as other forums such as International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Belgian Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (CEPANI) and DIFC-LCIA.

Disputes
Jerome specialises in damage assessments and valuations in commercial arbitrations and litigations. He has worked on complex disputes covering a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, chemicals, manufacturing, defence and consumer goods.

Transactions
Jerome provides transaction support services, such as buy-side and sell-side due diligence, valuation and business plan preparation. He has worked on a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, software and aviation, and has undertaken complex engagements such as carve-out transactions and those involving public-private partnerships.

Contentious engagements

  • Valuation of lost profits arising from the alleged breach of a management agreement for a company in the defence industry in the Middle East
  • Valuation of lost profits and unpaid unitary payments in the context of the termination of a public-private partnership in Europe
  • Valuation of a global dye company in the context of a minority shareholder oppression case. The valuation included the write-back of the value destroyed by the majority shareholder’s oppressive actions
  • Valuation of lost profits arising from lost opportunities due to an alleged breach in a licensing agreement for a Chinese pharmaceutical company
  • Valuation of lost profits due to alleged breaches in a supply contract between a Dutch distributor and a Korean medical device manufacturer
  • Valuation of a British luxury jeweller in the context of divorce proceedings. This included an analysis of the company’s ability to recognise profits in different corporate entities

  • Valuation of a public-private partnership in the context of its termination. Further assisted in the negotiation process, transaction closing, post-transaction due diligence and business forecasting
