Our client, a leading French film producer and distributor, was facing cash-flow difficulties and planned to obtain backing from a financial or industrial partner.
We prepared the sell-side assistance document, analysed short-term forecasts to assess cash needs and timing, and provided support in setting up an appropriate legal framework (e.g. mandat ad hoc). We also reviewed the three-year business plan under various scenarios and assisted in discussions with financial partners, authorities and potential candidates.
We were engaged to provide support in several areas, including sell-side assistance and strategic advice during discussions with potential candidates. The engagement also involved the analysis of short-term cash-flow forecasts to identify potential liquidity needs, as well as a review of the three-year business plan to assess associated financing requirements. In addition, we offered assistance during discussions with financial partners.
