Our client, a global tech company, was considering the acquisition of a fast-growing player specialising in AI-driven video creation tools for social media, with operations in both the US and Europe. The target had developed a successful mobile app and was expanding rapidly with new features and a second app built on AI technology.
We analysed high-growth, creator-economy-driven tech companies operating across geographies, as well as under different accounting frameworks (French GAAP and US GAAP).
We conducted financial due diligence, covering the historical financial performance. Our work included assessing the group’s revenue model (platform-based subscription), profitability trends, cash generation profile and working capital management. We also performed a detailed quality of earnings analysis and standalone adjustments to reflect the post-integration cost structure, including cost rationalisation and FX exposure mitigation.
