Where can we find talent for our businesses?

For its seventh round table meeting, Accuracy chose to examine the all-important subject of people and skills, an issue that is always of primary importance to any company.
In order to explore this theme, Accuracy was joined by a leading company manager Mr Henri Proglio, CEO of Veolia Environnement and a leading academic, Mr Laurent Batsch, President of Paris-Dauphine University.

“Where can we find talent for our businesses?”

This theme was debated for nearly an hour and a half.

In response to questions from Frédéric Duponchel, (Accuracy’s Managing Director), the two speakers contributed their respective views from a recruiter’s and a trainer’s viewpoint, including the following questions:

  • Do our graduate schools and universities provide a sufficient source of talent?
  • Which characteristics are most desirable today?
  • Does the recruitment of atypical candidate profiles offer an alternative?
  • How can the company become a university?
