Management packages: for companies too?

A little over a year ago, Accuracy organised roundtable sessions to discuss the relationship between the private equity world and that of the major companies. On Tuesday, 23 September, 2008, the company organised a new roundtable meeting to discuss the following theme:

“What can companies learn from the practices of the private equity sector in the field of managers’ pay?”

Jean-François Palus, Executive Vice President- (Finance) for the PPR group, Claire Pedini, Human Resources and Communication Manager for the Alcatel-Lucent group, Alexis Dargent, Lawyer & partner for Mayer Brown and Christophe Leclerc, an Accuracy Associate, met to debate this issue.

The discussions, which were managed by Frédéric Duponchel (Accuracy’s Managing Director), successively focused on the ethical, technical, practical and legal issues related to the construction of management compensation packages in major companies.

The discussions continued in a more informal manner during a lunch featuring the wine-related theme of “The Chablis 1ers and Grands Crus from Domaine Pinson.”
