On 1 July 2025, Accuracy China and King & Wood Mallesons, supported by YSIAC, jointly organised a half-day event titled \u201cGetting inside the black box of the arbitral tribunal: how to make your arbitrators like you and your case\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event was designed to explore the science of advocacy and persuasion from cross-jurisdictional and cultural perspectives, as well as to provide practitioners, especially younger generations, with knowledge and insights in these areas.<\/p>\n

The event featured prominent figures from the Asia-Pacific arbitration world, including Lucy Reed (president of the SIAC Court of Arbitration, independent arbitrator, Arbitration Chambers New York) and Jingzhou Tao (Independent arbitrator, avocat \u00e0 la court de Paris), as well as young practitioners from mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Leong Munyou, director at Accuracy, joined the panel discussion and shared his experience on applying the \u201cscience\u201d and \u201cgood rules\u201d in arbitration practice from an expert witness\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n
