Qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une superstructure ? L\u2019\u00e9quivalent non mat\u00e9riel de l\u2019infrastructure, soit : les id\u00e9es d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et leurs modalit\u00e9s d\u2019expression (art, philosophie, morale), ses institutions \u00e9tatiques, mais aussi culturelles et scolaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est Karl Marx qui invente ce couple de concepts pour en montrer la profonde cod\u00e9termination : les superstructures id\u00e9ologiques d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pendent \u00e9troitement de ses infrastructures mat\u00e9rielles et \u00e9conomiques, et vice-versa. Par exemple, la r\u00e9volution industrielle a fait \u00e9voluer l\u2019infrastructure (innovations techniques, m\u00e9canisation, division du travail\u2026) comme la superstructure (lib\u00e9ralisme, rationalisme, morale bourgeoise\u2026), lesquelles se sont renforc\u00e9es mutuellement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De quelles superstructures de rupture allons-nous avoir besoin pour accompagner les mutations mat\u00e9rielles et \u00e9conomiques de notre temps ? Si nous n\u2019en savons rien avec pr\u00e9cision, ce que nous savons d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0, c\u2019est que nos superstructures actuelles ne conviennent plus. C\u2019est le point de d\u00e9part d\u2019un excellent TedX de Sir Ken Robinson sur nos syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs : le paradigme sur lequel ils reposent est encore celui de l\u2019\u00e2ge industriel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, notre syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u au 19e si\u00e8cle dans le contexte \u00e9conomique de la r\u00e9volution industrielle. Logiquement, l\u2019\u00e9cole est ainsi organis\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 ce syst\u00e8me de production : sonneries de cloches, installations s\u00e9par\u00e9es, mati\u00e8res sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es, programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes standardis\u00e9s, tests standardis\u00e9s. C\u2019est ce que Sir Ken Robinson appelle \u00ab the factory model of education \u00bb (le mod\u00e8le industriel de l\u2019\u00e9ducation). Ce syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif h\u00e9rit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e2ge industriel a un d\u00e9faut en particulier : il tue la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et la pens\u00e9e divergente. Or notre \u00e9poque, une des plus stimulantes de l\u2019histoire, en a plus que jamais besoin ! Raison pour laquelle il est n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019effectuer un changement radical de paradigme en ce domaine, et cela passe par trois \u00e9tapes. D\u2019abord, d\u00e9truire le mythe selon lequel il y a une division entre l\u2019acad\u00e9mique et le non-acad\u00e9mique, entre le th\u00e9orique et le concret : en autres termes, cesser de s\u00e9parer l\u2019enseignement de la vie. Ensuite, reconna\u00eetre que la plupart des grands apprentissages se font collectivement \u2013 car la collaboration est la base de la progression \u2013 plut\u00f4t qu\u2019encourager la concurrence individuelle entre les \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, changer les habitudes de pens\u00e9e de ceux qui travaillent dans le syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif comme les architectures des lieux qu\u2019ils occupent. Le philosophe Michel Foucault remarquait d\u00e9j\u00e0 les profondes r\u00e9sonances entre les organisations spatiales et temporelles des usines et des \u00e9coles. Aux nouvelles superstructures de rupture devront ainsi \u00e0 leur tour correspondre d\u2019inventives infrastructures de rupture. \u00c0 quoi ressembleront les \u00e9coles de demain ? O\u00f9 seront-elles ? Certains les imaginent dans le cloud comme Sugata Mitra en Inde, d\u2019autres en pleine nature comme ces forest schools qui fleurissent en Europe. Et si nous le demandions \u00e0 nos enfants et \u00e0 nos jeunes ?
