Si elle fait l\u2019objet de d\u00e9bats, <strong>cette d\u00e9cision rel\u00e8ve d\u2019un pragmatisme froid :<\/strong> malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9monstration d\u2019un d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, les \u00e9nergies renouvelables restent soumises aux al\u00e9as m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques et ne seront pas en mesure de se substituer aux moyens de production d\u2019\u00e9nergie pilotables, tant <strong>les engagements de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre \u00e0 horizon 2050 sont ambitieux.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Face \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectrification de l\u2019\u00e9conomie, le choix de maintenir le nucl\u00e9aire dans le mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique fran\u00e7ais aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des \u00e9nergies renouvelables n\u2019est pas une option mais rel\u00e8ve de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9. Le garant de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre des r\u00e9seaux en France, RTE, le reconnait \u00e9galement : les sc\u00e9narios sans renouvellement du parc nucl\u00e9aire reposent, en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019approvisionnement, sur des paris technologiques et soci\u00e9taux significatifs. Au-del\u00e0 de ces aspects, <strong>le nucl\u00e9aire constitue \u00e9galement un vecteur \u00e9vident d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique pour les europ\u00e9ens.<\/strong> L\u2019actualit\u00e9 nous le rappelle cruellement, et a failli faire infl\u00e9chir la position du Gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral allemand sur son retrait du nucl\u00e9aire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En France, les premi\u00e8res estimations font \u00e9tat d\u2019un co\u00fbt de construction de 52mds\u20ac mais les modalit\u00e9s de financement restent encore \u00e0 d\u00e9finir.
