Despite (i) the increasing awareness of fraud and corruption amoung leaders and boards of directors, (ii) the implementation of stronger compliance models aimed at preventing fraud, bribery and corruption cases, and (iii) stricter national regulations, the number of italian cases concerning violations of anti-briberey and anti-corruption legislation is growing. Additional investment is needed. The recent introduction of “ISO37001”, an internal rule which proved organizations with guidance in fighting corruption through the implementation of effective preventive measures, is an efficient fraud and corruption prevention system, offering companies best practice in improving an anti-bibery management model…
