Despite (i) the increasing awareness of fraud and corruption amoung leaders and boards of directors, (ii) the implementation of stronger compliance models aimed at preventing fraud, bribery and corruption cases, and (iii) stricter national regulations, the number of italian cases concerning violations of anti-briberey and anti-corruption legislation is growing. Additional investment is needed.
