AccuWin Windows® applications Install files for AccuWin are available by email, or a Download. The programs are distributed electronically without charge. Using the programs with an instrument requires an "information key" specific to the instrument, a physical key, or a trial key. We charge for information keys, physical keys, and hard copy distribution kits. If you already have one of our instruments, please include its serial number in any request for software.AccuProbe HH series instruments accept a PCMCIA memory card, which may be used to add an application overlay to the instrument. Application overlays customize the instrument to add color space or density calculations, matching and correction functions, or additional searchlists. All hand-held instruments are shipped with the Colorimetry I overlay at no additional charge. This overlay is applied to the base memory. Pantone (R) Color Cue (T) and AccuPic I instruments do not currently support application overlays. They require custom microcode development. Pantone Color Cue 2 (R) (CC2) and AccuPic II instruments fully support user loadable application overlays via usb (or wireless if available). Color identification, matching, and correction require color data specific to the particular system of colors and or colorants in use. This information is often the property of a third party, most often Pantone, Inc. or a paint company. When we provide this information we do so with specific permissions and there may be fees. Private information may be provided as a searchlist loaded into an instrument, a memory card, or a set of files. Distributor ToolsInstalling memory cards, loading searchlists, maintaining calibration targets, loading base memory application overlays, examining and setting user measurement options and limits are all supported by distributor' tools. |
