HH Series Color Sensors for Material Monitoring
For industrial monitoring applications, tethered HH series instruments may be equipped with a nosecone and mounting plate designed to provide a fixed working distance to the object plane. The mounting plate has a ½ inch flange on each side of the instrument. The plate is 1/8-inch aluminum and may be prepared with three or four through holes, tapped holes, or PEM’s, per customer specification at time of order.These instruments use a modified LED complement to ensure overfill of the sample area and will tolerate constant, (not rapidly variable) external light at normal levels. External illumination by direct sun light or operation in the neighborhood of flash light sources and illumination by sunlight through a fan blade should be avoided .
Standard HH series power supplies and RS232 kits may be used. An alternate connection is provided for hardwiring with a contact closure output.
System configurations for timed monitoring with Pass/Fail indication may use either an external computer or a custom memory card.
